About Golden Wok
Golden Wok is a chinese restaurant in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is listed at 1216 Bridford Pkwy, Greensboro, NC 27407, which places it among the local businesses of Greensboro that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Greensboro; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 amβ10 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Greensboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

You know that feeling when you're sooo hungry, and then the food you ordered is so disappointing.. I ordered the Chicken Chow Maine, and this is what I got.. now where I'm from.. this is not what a Chow Maine looks like, maybe it's different here in the US? Anyway.. my husband's pork lo Maine was pretty good

Ok but Unimpressive. Everything we got (spring rolls, crab rangoon, sesame chicken) was fried for way too long which made it near inedible. My husband and I split an entree and ate about half before we gave up. The fried rice was the best part. Spring rolls had zero flavor and the crab rangoons were not very stuffed. we visited from out of town so we will not be giving it a 2nd chance, but unfortunately this wouldn't be a place I recommend to anyone based on our experience. Maybe it was just an off day..

Tried Golden Wok recently and honestly had a really good experience. I ordered the Lo Mein Pork Roast, and beef both dishes were flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The Lo Mein had a great texture β noodles were cooked perfectly, not too oily, and packed with vegetables and flavor. You can tell they donβt just throw ingredients together; everything tasted balanced and well-seasoned. The Pork Roast was the highlight for me. The meat was tender, juicy, and had a really nice roasted flavor with a perfect mix of sweetness and savoriness. Portions were generous too, which made it feel worth the money. The food came out hot and fresh, and the overall quality was better than many Chinese takeout places Iβve tried around the area. The restaurant itself had a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and quick with service. Even during busy hours, the food was prepared fast without sacrificing quality. I also appreciated how clean and organized the place felt. If youβre looking for a solid Chinese restaurant with tasty food, good portions, and reliable service, Golden Wok is definitely worth trying. Iβll definitely be coming back to explore more items on the menu.

Wow wow wow! This food is the best Iβve had in Greensboro. I ordered Steamed Dumplings, Singapore Noodles, Shrimp Role & Egg Role, and Beef and Broccoli. Right when I walked in, the vibes were great and a woman immediately greeted me. She was enthusiastic and even started conversing with me about China and their spiciest pepper. Their Fried Rice was also pretty good, Iβve never had it with all of the veggies but the balance of the onions in the rice made it perfect. Everything was fresh, hot and extremely delicious. The best of it all, I wasnβt super bloated the next day from over consumption of salt. Will be returning and making this my to go Chinese spot. 5/5 βοΈπ₯°

The food is absolutely worth the money β flavorful, fresh, and well prepared. Itβs a busy place, which clearly reflects its popularity and good taste. Takeout quality of the food itself was excellent, but the packaging needs improvement, as it spilled in my car and caused inconvenience. With better and more secure packaging for takeout orders, this place would easily be a 5-star experience. Overall, very good food and a spot Iβd still recommend.
